A few months after Jax abstracts, the process is suddenly reversed. Returning with an improved character model and a shitload of regret, she rejoins the group. Trying to receive the least amount of attention possible for her reinvented self proves useless the second Caine finds out his favourite human in the whole wide computer is back.

In this AU, the characters are not brain scans. They are real humans trapped by a rogue AI while their physical bodies remain in the real world.
A secret Organization finds them and takes care of them.
This story includes FunnyBunny (Pomni x Jax), Gangle x Zooble, Father Figure Kinger, and a platonic friendship between Ribbit and Jax. It also features a femboy interpretation of Jax and uses a mix of canon and non canon names.
This story diverges heavily from canon and should be viewed as an alternate universe.
