“Do NOT talk back to Rin’s MOTHER like that,” his father snarled in a manner one could almost describe as animalistic. “You KNOW what you did, you- you took our Rin, and that’s unforgivable!”

Miku exhales in relief. She squats in front of Rin- no, Len. “If that’s the case, then it’s perfectly fine. You had me worried you were breaking up with me or something, heh… But I’m so glad you trusted me enough to tell me this.” Miku spreads her arms. “Now come get a hug, if you want one.”
With a sob, Len closes the small distance between them and falls into Miku’s warm embrace.
