Summary
They were always the closest out of all the other adepti, Morax and Alatus… Zhongli and Xiao. They fit in the palm of each other’s hands like the knobs of a scroll.
One day Zhongli disappears.
It is Xiao’s mission — his test, he knows — to find him again.

Summary
Fischl (“Fi” to her friends) is a hard-boiled Private Investigator. Her beat, Mondstadt City, is the same den of sin as ever, but its heart?: its heart's more jaded than a Liyuean figurine.
Fi means it's a canon divergence AU where she grew up reading noir thrillers, not dark fantasy.
Yeah, that. When Benny, a blond with a neckline to die for, shows up at her office, what starts as a routine investigation descends into a depraved crescendo of bitter secrets and truths fouler than a Sweet Madame.
She solves a case but gets into a bit of trouble along the way.
That's what I just said, Oz.

Summary
There is no one in the tent but the two of them, and so there’s no one to witness Rex Lapis crossing to his side, turning Xiao onto his back and pressing two of his fingers to the pulse that thumps beneath Xiao’s throat. His heart pumps steady and strong. Rex Lapis puts one hand to Xiao’s chest—so small that he can nearly span it with his fingers spread—and feels the motion of his lungs.

Summary
To the victors of the Archon War go the promises of the future they dreamed of.
--
Xiao can’t suppress the heady rush that compels him to crane his neck to press his lips to Zhongli’s gracelessly, but the archon responds in kind immediately, arms unwinding to cup Xiao’s cheeks in his hands.
Without the sounds of birds calling to their companions and placid waves rustling in the harbor below, without the cries of mortals and spirits alike, they can almost pretend as if they’re the only remnants of Liyue’s past, gazing across battlefields silenced for the last time.

“It should have been me.” Xiao said, the words coming out acidic, a horrid taste left on his tongue. “It should have been–”
“Quiet, now.” Morax whispered into him. He ran his thumb over Xiao’s cheek once more, catching the tears as they fell, “I will take care of you, Xiao.”
Or: Zhongli comforts Xiao in the way that only he can.

Summary
Xiao is the name he was given upon his new contract with the great dragon Rex Lapis, but before that, he was Alatus, a weak adeptus twisted to the whim of the God of Dreams. The blood on his hands and karmic debt on his shoulders corrupt his Heart and drive him toward death, until he happens across an otherworldly light stumbling through a lonely valley.
Aether has visited and fled more worlds than he can count, careful never to get attached, but this is the first time he's truly been trapped on any one of them, stripped of his power and split from his sister. He is certain he will starve and fade, chained by his immortality to a life of unending agony, unable to even put himself to rest— until he meets a lost and achingly gentle adeptus who brings him new hope.
It will be a long time before either of them learn how to receive the love they are given.
