Summary
In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Police Department released a press conference. It confirmed two rumours: one, John Kramer was Jigsaw and two, he was dead. The Jigsaw murders that had rocked the city were done, they promised, despite multiple reports of accomplices and copycats. The city can finally heal, it’s finally over.
Two hours later, a faceless frequent commenter on a Jigsaw blog posted on his own page for the first time. He had previously been known among the community for heavily criticising local police proceedings and coining the term ‘Cult of Jigsaw’, used for those who can "appreciate John Kramer's message”. Despite being on the more radical side of the school of thought, he gained traction quickly. Overnight he amassed over 500 followers, Jigsaw survivors and self proclaimed followers alike. The user's name was JigsawSurvivor.

Adam had been fiddling with the aperture for a few minutes, more a nervous habit than an actual camera technique. Lawrence was moving around upstairs, he’d been getting ready for almost an hour. Not that Adam minded waiting, he was always happy to watch Lawrence style his hair, hell he could spend the rest of his life watching Lawrence get dressed and undressed. It was just the waiting now that was killing him, the longer it took them to leave the house the longer Adam had to worry about the evening ahead. It wasn’t going to be a big deal, just a small party with the rest of Lawrence’s staff, and his boss, and his boss’s boss, and all their partners. No big deal. Adam had met a few of them before, in fleeting introductions in corridors if he came to pick Lawrence up, or in accidental meetings in supermarkets. He’d always tried to smile politely, and let Lawrence lead.

Tutting under his breath Scott pulled to a slow stop behind the car in front. He should have expected traffic trying to head into the city in the early morning with the commuters. A few horns honked, vague frustrations of angry businessmen, before the road stilled to a quiet acceptance. Glancing over to the passenger seat Scott made sure Adam was still sleeping.
