It’s the adventure of a lifetime and, at first, it’s amazing…but then he and Steve connect in ways more than just friendship and he finds that he is torn between wanting to stay with him or go back home.
In the end, whatever the result, he loses.

Steve’s mouth opened in a silent scream before mouthing “oh fuck,” and shutting his eyes tightly in an effort to squeeze his eyeballs into non-existence.
"Oh fuck" captured it, all right...
