    Summary

No headline. No declaration that Ilya Rozanov's life had almost ended. The world did not know how close it had come to losing one of the most beautiful souls in existence. Shane Hollander learned on that day- a little over a year ago- that Ilya would always run to him. Ilya would not let the world pass idly by when he didn't know that Shane was okay. Now, Shane Hollander knew that he was very much the same. But this terror was different- because Ilya could decide at any time that he was done with life and Shane wanted him so desperately to find some reason- any reason- to live.

    Summary

Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have had a hell of a year. Ilya nearly dying; Shane being assaulted by his teammates- coming out to the world and settling on the same team for the first time in their professional careers. Spearheading the changes to MLH policies was never something they thought they'd be a part of- until it was the only option to protect themselves and the others in the league like them. Now they watch as the owners decide if they'll fight the Player's Association and Crowell continues to do what he can to make their lives a living hell.

And in all of this- they've lost parts of themselves- they're having to relearn who they are in a world where they can just be them. In a world where Ilya can kiss Shane on the cheek outside of an All-Star game and Shane can hold Ilya's hand as they walk through airports side by side. Where Ilya doesn't have to be an asshole as a way to protect himself and Shane realizes that being 'perfect' has left him with a hole in his soul.

This is the story of finding themselves and making the MLH a league that they can truly be proud to play in.

    Summary

What if Shane's hit was more brutal, his injury far worse? This is the story of how the boys fight for each other even at their lowest, even when neither of them knows how hard the other is fighting just to be with them. It's about how love blows things up, but it's also the only thing that puts them back together.

"What are you doing here?" Yuna said, accusatorily. Because, right, Ilya and her son were supposed to be rivals, supposed to hate each other's guts.

They could hardly ask for more.

But after Ilya receives a phone call from his all-but-estranged brother, they have no idea what is about to be brought into their lives.
