Summary
No headline. No declaration that Ilya Rozanov's life had almost ended. The world did not know how close it had come to losing one of the most beautiful souls in existence. Shane Hollander learned on that day- a little over a year ago- that Ilya would always run to him. Ilya would not let the world pass idly by when he didn't know that Shane was okay. Now, Shane Hollander knew that he was very much the same. But this terror was different- because Ilya could decide at any time that he was done with life and Shane wanted him so desperately to find some reason- any reason- to live.

Summary
Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have had a hell of a year. Ilya nearly dying; Shane being assaulted by his teammates- coming out to the world and settling on the same team for the first time in their professional careers. Spearheading the changes to MLH policies was never something they thought they'd be a part of- until it was the only option to protect themselves and the others in the league like them. Now they watch as the owners decide if they'll fight the Player's Association and Crowell continues to do what he can to make their lives a living hell.
And in all of this- they've lost parts of themselves- they're having to relearn who they are in a world where they can just be them. In a world where Ilya can kiss Shane on the cheek outside of an All-Star game and Shane can hold Ilya's hand as they walk through airports side by side. Where Ilya doesn't have to be an asshole as a way to protect himself and Shane realizes that being 'perfect' has left him with a hole in his soul.
This is the story of finding themselves and making the MLH a league that they can truly be proud to play in.

Summary
What if Shane's hit was more brutal, his injury far worse? This is the story of how the boys fight for each other even at their lowest, even when neither of them knows how hard the other is fighting just to be with them. It's about how love blows things up, but it's also the only thing that puts them back together.
"What are you doing here?" Yuna said, accusatorily. Because, right, Ilya and her son were supposed to be rivals, supposed to hate each other's guts.

Shane and Ilya invite Hayden, Jackie, and their four kids to spend a week at the cottage.
When Shane and Hayden take the twins to Montreal overnight, Ilya stays behind with Jackie and the two youngest kids. The plan is simple: a quiet day by the lake, a girls’ night, and twenty-four blissful hours without Hayden around to annoy him.
Then something happens in the middle of the night, and Ilya gets the chance to prove that taking care of people might actually be one of the things he does best.

Summary
“Drink lots of fluids," Richardson says, "and try and eat some plain bread or crackers. But slowly; it’s gonna be a challenge to keep anything down. Stay in bed, rest, and, um: Pedialyte or Gatorade; don’t be surprised if it starts coming out of both ends but do not take Immodium or anything else that’ll back you up.”
Ilya makes a face.
“Maybe broth if you’re feeling up to it, but I’m serious about staying hydrated, okay? Fever means it’s probably norovirus.”
Norovirus. Fucking—that shit that took out the Sharks last week? Ilya grits his teeth against another wave of nausea. This is the dumbest thing to ever happen to him. This is ridiculous.
Or, Ilya has norovirus. Shane (and Yuna and David) take(s) care of him.

Summary
Ilya’s eyes suddenly sharpened into determined focus. A look Shane was intimately familiar with. It’s the set of his jaw as he’s staring down a game-winning slapshot with a defender hot on his heels and the crowd roaring their praise or their rebuke. It is the ultimate intensity the depths of those icy green eyes can invoke, and his voice was deep and steady as he replied, “She is ours now, Shane. She will never, never be my brother’s daughter ever again.”
Or: When a teenage niece of Ilya Rozanov shows up at the Hollander-Rozanov household, a whole new dimension of chaos and love finds its way into their life together.

Summary
David Hollander carefully re-arranged his index cards. He was shocked when Shane asked him to speak at their rehearsal dinner. Shocked that he was the choice over any number of boisterous hockey players that would gladly volunteer to get a chance to chirp at Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov's love story. But maybe that was why he was picked, maybe that was why Ilya had insisted. They wanted something that spoke to who they really were- who he and Yuna had gotten to see more and more over of the last four years. So he gripped his cards and he let out a breath he held a little too tight- here's to the snippets of their love story that no one else witnessed.
