"Chat, you know I started my new job two weeks ago, right? I really shouldn't say this but we're... 10 tonight and I need to get this off my chest. One of my coworkers is a complete asshole. He talks down on everyone but my colleagues all love and praise him. I don’t get it. I hope this doesn't get me in trouble but it felt good to say it. Now, let's play!"
This quick rant ended up making your work life miserable.

Summary
His intense, pale eyes scrutinize every aspect of Stiles.
Stiles has never been the sole target of Derek Hale’s gaze before. They’ve glared at each other in passing, or whenever they make barbs at each other, but Derek has never full-on stared at Stiles. The weight of Derek’s gaze makes him tense and fidget. Stiles is the one who has to break eye contact by turning his head and clearing his throat. “Okay, let’s just start over,” Stiles says, shaking the tension out of his hands. “Fresh start,” He grabs his backpack and turns in a circle until he’s facing Derek again.
“Hey, I’m here to tutor you, dickhead,” Stiles says, a fake smile plastered on his face.

Summary
Derek is going to be huge, they all say so. And if Derek is huge, then Stiles is huge, but the problem is, they may not be huge in the same way.
See, Derek will be a beloved superstar who wins games and takes his team the Super Bowl, and he’s hot and sexy and everybody wants him and wants to be around him, and they’ll put him in the Hall of Fame.
But Stiles will be considered Derek’s dead weight. He will famously be the one sabotaging his career by being gay, by making Derek think he likes boys, too, ruining the sport by bringing his sexuality into it. Stiles doesn’t know if Derek realizes this, yet, but Stiles can already see it happening.

Summary
Lydia looks over her shoulder to look at Derek Hale again, then back to him. “He’s an asshole, you know.”
“You think I don’t know that?” Stiles is confused, furrowing his brow. “I’ve only spent the last ten years of my life fighting with him.”
“Yeah, but, I mean, he’s an asshole,” she draws the word out nice and long, as if it takes on a different meaning depending on exactly how she says it. “No one who has ever dated or hooked up with that guy has ever had anything nice to say about him after the fact.”
“What do I care about that?”
She looks at him. It’s that all-knowing, all-seeing gaze, like the eye of Mordor. Stiles feels tiny under its wrath, so he looks away and stares down at his beer can, traces the design with his thumb. “I know you, Stiles Stilinski.”
“Not really. We only dated for, like, five months.”
With a snort, totally uncharacteristic of her and something she would never do sober, she rolls her eyes. “Gee, I wonder why.”
