Summary
Eddie knew that he should be horrified at the thought of Buck killing a man, even if he killed him on his behalf.
And yet...
"Fuck," Buck huffed hot breaths against Eddie's skin, his forehead pressed against the nape of Eddie's neck. "You feel so good, Eds."
Eddie's body tensed beneath him, muscles coiling tight as Buck's rhythm intensified. "I still can't believe you killed a man for me," Eddie whispered, voice barely audible over the sound of their laboured breathing.

Summary
This isn’t the first time something’s gone horribly, catastrophically wrong for Buck, but it’s okay. It’ll work out in the end. It always has so far.
This is just a temporary setback. He pinkie promises.
Or, Buck loses his leg, falls in love, and gets his job back. Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
"Marisol does a double-take when her eyes land on his, and he knows his own expression matches her surprise.
He hasn’t seen her since their award ceremony, mere days before everything went to shit. After walking in on her boyfriend and a woman who looked exactly like his late wife, Buck kind of figured that he’d never see her again, let alone on Eddie’s front porch.
Oh yeah, did he forget to mention that he bought Eddie’s house when his friend put it on the market? It was really easy, honestly. He just called the realtor Eddie was using and closed on it before it even had a sign out front."
Or: Months after Eddie moves to Texas to be with his son, a knock on Buck's front door shakes things up
