Baelor is more or less accustomed to cryptic letters from Brynden showing up borne on ravens—if the situation is dire enough, his uncle appearing from the shadows isn’t out of the question either—but the latest one waiting for him at Ashford feels almost deliberately vague.
Remember that besides Trail by Combat and Trial of Seven, all can be resolved if the accuser simply changes the punishment. Instead of demanding a hand or foot, make Aerion see the prestige of having a personal guard worth four men or more. Even dragons had their honor guard after all.
Maybe the knight can teach both of them and change all our fates.
Or Bloodraven sends a letter that changes the fate of the kingdom, and specifically Aerion and Dunk.

Or Marius notices that Eric has taken no paramours lately and the entire manor assumes that the two of them are already together. Marius insists that he has made vows, but after all, he's already broken one vow, so what's another?

At the same time, Silco and Vander have to deal with their children's romantic entanglements while fending off Renata’s ambitious schemes, Sevika carries out her job while pointedly trying her best to ignore the fact that her boss’ daughter has grown up super hot, and Viktor has to learn to lead the hexgate towers while carrying on married life with a robot child.

“Well, I was thinking you for starters,” Jinu says, propping his chin on his hand, nearly slipping again, and then quickly rearranging himself to lounge nonchalantly.
Or Romance is pretty dubious about this entire demon boy-band idea, but if it's the only way to make another deal with Gwi-Ma, he's going to endure. And if along the way he gets to eat some eye-candy and share some banter with a certain muscular bandmate or the tall, mean huntress, that's just a bonus.

Silco regards him for some time, his mismatched eyes disconcertingly sharp before he challenges, “What if I said I wanted you to abdicate the Beast Lord title to me?”
“Done,” Vander snorts, staring up at him. “You’d get all the different clans challenging you, but I assume you have a plan for that. And afterwards—I’d hope you’d listen to advice. Not start another war we can’t win.”
“I’m not starting anything, I just have to scare them until they no longer want to set foot in our territory,” Silco murmurs, letting go of Vander’s chin and then running his fingers down Vander’s beard and then down his throat. “I don’t want to be Beast Lord though—too much trouble. Why bother with all those challengers when if you made me Consort, no one would dare challenge me at all?”
Or out of options to save his children from the humans, wolf shifter and Beast Lord Vander comes to find his former mate, shark shifter Silco for help. Silco is willing to help under certain conditions; namely, that Vander marries him and makes him Consort over the Pack.

Vander looks up at him steadily. “I’m not your lapdog, Silco. I’m your Hound.”
Or the apology letter makes Silco go confront Vander earlier, and Vander is willing to both contemplate joining the fight again and earn Silco's forgiveness through his body if that's what it takes.

“What does Kabru think of this?” Marcille asks desperately.
Laios twiddles his fingers and readjusts his phone on the table. “Uh. Well. I emailed it to him yesterday. It’s a bit different from what I usually write, so I’m sure that’s why it’s taking him longer than usual to beta it.”
Laios never meant to develop a reputation as a monsterfucker novel writer, but it had just sort of ended up happening, and his editor Kabru is dragged along for the ride.

Or Hawks is a medium teaming up with ghost Dabi to exorcise wicked ghosts, but they stumble upon a stranger case.

The chicken somehow glares at him. “Murderer.”
“Guilty,” Dabi replies spreading out his fingers before adding coldly, “Takes one to know one.”
or after the war, Hawks activates his secondary quirk as a chicken shifter, can't shift back, and ends up finding Dabi to help.

“The Garden is always looking to prune some ministers who are more concerned with covering up bad deeds than punishing the transgressors,” Touya replies, twirling one of his flame-engraved knives. “What’s Westalis’ interest in him?”
“Some of the people he’s been covering up for have been agitating for war again,” Hawks says carefully. “I’ve been sent to make sure he doesn’t help them anymore.”
“Well, if you want the honors,” Touya says, sarcastically gesturing like a waiter and half-bowing toward Hawks.
“…it’d honestly be better if you did it,” Hawks admits. “Nothing to tie it back to Westalis in that case.”
“And that’s all that matters in the end, of course,” Touya says in a bitter voice, “Westalis’ interests.”
Or Hawks finds out that his fake husband is the Garden's top assassin Dabi only after he has given up his supposedly fake family

Living in the dorms together had meant that when Momo was in the more public spaces of the dorm, she would put together fairly cute outfits, and even if they had a girl’s night, she was still wearing pajama pants at least.
Now, Momo apparently has no compunctions about walking around the apartment in just an overly large T-shirt and underwear, with no pants at all, which nearly made Mai walk into a wall the first time she realized this.

Kabru rolls his eyes. “Because that’s not how politics works.”
Laios sighs. “I really hate politics…”
“I know, that’s what you have me for,” Kabru replies, a small smile on his lips.
Or in the midst of helping plan his sister's wedding, Laios realizes that his feelings towards Kabru might be more complicated than he had thought.
