    Five times Peter doesn't think Tony would want to know about his trauma.
    Each chapter will be a different problem Peter tries to face on his own: panic attacks/flashbacks, bullying, physical injury, etc. There will be underlying themes of sexual assault aftermath throughout, so please be careful reading. This will be a sensitive and realistic portrayal of the effects of SA trauma with no explicit scenes. I will handle this with care! But please read with care, too.

    One time Peter realizes he 100% trusts Tony. I adore this chapter so much.

    Plus at least another chapter of pure healing and love, so I'm going to set this as a 7 chapter fic!

    “I don’t know, some twelve year old—”
    Below him, the kid coughs out, “Fifteen.”
    “—Fifteen year old—”
    Tony scrubs a hand across his face. “Don’t tell me he’s wearing a dorky shirt with a chemistry pun on it.”
    Rhodey frowns. That was oddly specific. Glancing down, he looks at what little he can see of the kid’s shirt—which isn't much since there’s so much blood now, but what could be once called a cartoon joke is printed on it. “Um, yeah?”
    “Son of a bitch.”

     

    Otherwise known as how Rhodey finds out about how old Peter is, and how badly he needs to beat Tony with a stick.

    Could there be something worse than losing every single memory of someone you love and treasure?
    Yes, Peter Parker could argue. Being the person that was forgotten.

    Iron Man gets injured in a fight, which leaves him with a (temporary?) amnesia, erasing the last few years of his life. Now he’s left with an annoying kid for a babysitter.
    (It is temporary, right?)
    As Tony Stark struggles with his new reality, Peter tries to keep the company running, look out for his mentor without getting himself kicked out of the Tower, and not break down in the process.
    (Right?)
