Summary
Chan wasn’t quite sure how he ended up with a god living in his apartment. He hadn’t prayed about anything, hadn’t left out any spell or amulets, hadn't even done much more than he normally did. However, what he did know was that this god was insufferable and impossible to get rid of.
Or, the one in which Chan accidentally acquires a cat god, but doesn't mind it too much despite how much he might complain because the benefits far outweigh the amount of vases Minho has pushed off the shelves.

Summary
His jaw tenses and he fixes his sights on Minho’s date, appraising the slender man. He’s not exactly Minho’s usual type, but maybe that’s the point.
Gold bracelets tinkle as he tilts his martini back, swiping a lock of platinum blonde behind his ear. He laughs at a joke Chan can’t hear, bringing perfectly manicured fingertips over the row of glossy white squares covering his actual teeth. He looks expensive. Like the settings on a washing machine might confuse him. Like he’s never been punched in the face.
Minho leans forward, the buttons of his maroon dress shirt straining, and plucks the olive from the man’s glass. He pops it into his traitorous mouth, filling the man with giggles and hollowing out Chan’s ribcage.
After a year of self-imposed exile following his breakup with Minho, Chan reluctantly agrees to attend a birthday party on the promise that Minho won’t be there. Things do not go quite as planned, and as the intoxicating fog of alcohol thickens, Chan struggles to stay anchored in the present within a flood of old memories and the surge of emotions they bring.

"Chan hyung," Minho murmurs, his breath hitting Chan's lips. "What are you doing?"
In his drunken haze, Chan must have bridged the little gap between them, because their lips are only a breath away from kissing and their faces are half smushed together. This close, he can see each individual eyelash and spec of gold-brown eye glitter. This close, he can just about see the mole on his nose. Chan wants to brush off the concealer in its spot completely, but he finds, more than that, that he really wants to kiss him.
He doesn't panic. He doesn't spring backwards and fall over the armrest of the sofa, like he might have done if he were completely sober.
Instead, while very careful not to move forward, Chan does not move any further back either, and whispers dumbly, "You smell of pizza."
Minho hisses back, "You smell of pizza too!"
"It's okay," Chan says, nosing at Minho's cheek. "I like pizza."
Minho huffs and bumps back into his nose with his own. "Now, you haven't answered my question. What are you doing, Chan hyung?"
or the one where best friends Chan and Minho spend Valentine's night together, and get a little closer than usual.

And then suddenly his peace is broken as he gets a bunch of headache-inducing roadtrip buddies and looped into revenge plots he didn't even dare to dream of.
