Summary
Trusting is hard. It's dangerous. It's fatal.
Then why does Rin want to trust Hiori? Why is there some gravitational pull that drags him closer and closer to the other? What piqued his interest when he saw him?
He doesn't know. All he knows is that he needs his priorities straight. He needs his brain to be straight. And he need himself to be, well, straight for soccer. Maybe. Possibly.

"Have I ever lied to ya'?"
Nanase stuttered for a response, knowing his face was blossoming a bright red the longer he took. The warm hands that enclasped his own was like a butterfly gently landing on his hands. Light and endearing in a way. His hands shook, maybe too much but it didn't matter. What was there to hide from someone who could hide their emotions so well? What was there to hide when someone as deceptive as Hiori could easily spot what was wrong with him in the span of a few seconds?
Everyone told him to stay away, but he just couldn't. Nanase couldn't.
He adored Hiori.

02. Maybe we have
Tabito Karasu's dream was to be a knight, like his dad. There were so many perks of being the head knight like staying in the palace, eating good food and so much more. He didn't exactly expect to meet anyone special there. Maybe a peep at the royal family once or twice.
The first day, he suddenly had been entrusted to be the Prince's right hand man.
He didn't know how that happened but now, he's supposed to keep the royal Prince safe and keep him entertained. Well, it worked (at least, he thinks it did). Karasu did not imagine he would be his closest friend. But every time the word friend echoed in his head, it shot a loud crack in his head. He kept silent, ignored it. The feeling was not allowed - Karasu was meant to be sent off one day, maybe to die honourably in the battlefield. Otoya? Stay and produce an heir to the kingdom.
It never was meant to be. But why...
Why did it feel as if it was?

DAY 7 OF TABIEITA WEEK (late...): One bed/Childhood AU
Karasu's used to it. It hurts but what can he do? He is in fact, a mediocre child. Befriending Otoya is his only achievement. Making him happy is the second.
But of course, he isn't careful. He's dumb. The present is in shambles. No present. And he couldn't buy another. So he continues. Because he's strong - not weak. He's focused. He's great. He's...
Sad.
Mediocre.
Just that.

DAY 6 OF TABIEITA WEEK: Soulmates AU | Didn't know they were flirting/dating AU
He lays his head onto the table, breathing in the alcohol all around them. It’s a bit comforting, probably because he’s often at bars, but the smell of alcohol calms him at times. That or the beer has finally decided to strike his mind.
“Oh yeahh… I’m Otoyaa…”
“Karasu.” Karasu, Otoya thinks to himself, repeating the name in his head several more times. All while Karasu just stares at him from the space beside him, a note-worthy smile on his face. Pretty smile too, his mind hums. Otoya’s head shoots up and he shakes it, trying to get the thoughts out of his head. He didn’t need to think some random guy from the bar’s smile was pretty. Because he isn’t into guys and guys aren’t pretty.
Otoya wants to find his soulmate. Being colourblind sucks. So what happens when he finds out his soulmate is that guy he met in some random bar?

Summary
Karasu. Otoya. Very different people. Some would say their opposites. But even so, opposites do attract. Each time they meet, a sense of belonging filled them and each time it happens, it confused them.
Now here they were, standing in front of their lover. Karasu held Otoya's hand. Otoya held Karasu's hand. It felt perfect.
Was it though?
Karasu sunk to the ground. Otoya grabbed onto his lover's figure, holding him close with tear stricken eyes. Karasu's head was spinning and all he could think of was Otoya, all he could see was Otoya. Otoya pressed his face against Karasu's chest, slowly losing himself in the endless tears.
Who was to die next? Only the realities they lived in had the choice. It was always a gamble. But they both were always one to live with risks.
The life of a soulmate was never easy.

Summary
Rin doesn't know why he was here. In fact, he questioned it constantly.
"Rin! come train with us!" Bachira called out suddenly, snapping him back to his plate of eggs. Ugh. They needed to add Ochazuke because plain egg taste terrible. He pushed the half-eaten egg a bit further from him, turning to Bachira.
"No."
Isagi, who appeared beside Bachira, sent him a pout.
"Why not? We're going to be working on speed drills with Chigiri today," He piped as Bachira had went ahead first. The boy probably needed to go to the restroom, he thought with experience from the moster boy himself.
Rin shrugged back at Isagi, shooting him another tense glare, "I don't need it."
"'Course ya' don't. Ya' don't do anything but stay in tha' room."
Rin spun around to see Hiori heading his way. Isagi smiled at the appearance of one of his friends. They're most likely going to gang up on Rin and beg him to train with them. The cons of being considered one of the best here.
"Please train with us Rin! We'll make it up to you!"
Rin rolled his eyes, no idea what compelled him to open his mouth and say the word he was about to say.
"Fine."
