Summary
Hey everyone! After about a year since I’ve read ACOSF, I’ve decided to write my own version. I was very disappointed by the way SF was handled. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I understand that Nesta is imperfect and highly flawed. I will not, however, stand idly by while people villainize her. The way she treated Feyre was wrong, but I don’t see that energy directed towards their father or Elain the same way.
Secondly, and more significantly, I want to discuss how Nesta is more hated than a cruel, neglectful leader and his Inner Circle who have all committed much more heinous crimes over the centuries than being a bad sister. Rhys has hurt Feyre worse than nest an ever could and I can't keep quiet about it because there are young impressionable girls out there who are seeing the glorification of Rhysand's behavior.
Lastly, the Inner Circle have admitted that they also behaved similarly to Nesta after their own first war, but were given decades and not mere months.
With all that being said, my goal is just to try and do Nesta's story justice. I hope you all enjoy this fic!
