That sent his spider-sense off. He froze and hesitated. He almost went with them. He wants to trust the Avengers. He wants to trust his idols.. But Tony’s earlier words of him ‘being a threat’ rang through his head.
And he bolted. He should have known they wouldn’t trust so easily. But why? Why do they think he’s a danger? Did he accidentally hurt someone at some point? ‘TheythinkI’mathreatTheythinkI’mathreat.’ It’s safe to say Peter was spiraling.OR-
Peter Parker is still just a child. A vigilante, sure, but also a child. A child who is scared shitless because apparently the Avengers think he's a threat.

Summary
Egg is being held hostage, and Wemmbu is handling it about as well as anyone would expect.
Wemmbu hated this life because he had almost been happy.
He had blown up Egg’s fishing spot just last week. Now he’s being sent to kill Parrot too.
Because Egg’s life is at stake.
To keep Egg alive — or at least, alive enough, Wemmbu destroys what he’s told to destroy. Hunts who he’s told to hunt.
The problem? No matter how hard he tries, Parrot just can’t seem to die. And despite Theo and Reina’s best efforts, he doesn’t seem capable of shutting up and minding his own business either.
Things go wrong, things go right, and things become complicated. Because Parrot still seems to believe there’s enough humanity left in Wemmbu for them to work together and break Egg out of prison.
And unfortunately, he might be right.
TLDR;
Egg is having some of the worst times of his life.
Parrot needs his kingdom back.
Theo would quite like for him, Parrot, and Reina to survive the week.
Wemmbu would burn the entire server to the ground before he lets Egg die alone.Which means they’re going to have to break Egg out of prison first. Except, this may be easier said than done.

It rang once. Tommy rubbed his eyes, ignoring the traces of sleep beginning to seep into his tired mind.

“Something has been feeling really…wrong. Recently. I dunno.” Wemmbu's not sure why he says it, what possesses him to say it. “You seem like the kinda guy to have answers to,” he pauses, searching for the word, before settling lamely on, “stuff.” He waves a hand dismissively.
“Wrong?” Minute echoes. “Wrong how? What do you mean?”
He tenses, shifting uncomfortably under the vulnerability of it all. “I dunno— Look, whatever, forget I said anything about that. I’m not tryin’ to talk about my feelings with you, man. I’m not getting into the— the Wemmbu lore. We aren’t doing a fucking minecraft therapy session right now,” he says defensively, voice rising just a tad too loud, a pitch too high.
Minute does his best to fight off a small smile. “Okay, bro. Whatever. You’re the one who brought it up, jeez.” He holds his hands up, palms facing outwards, in mock surrender. “I was just trying to be a good friend.”

“Just beat me now or die in your cell on your own tonight,” Wemmbu hisses. He puts the slightest bit more pressure on Lomedy’s neck, driving his point home and drawing a thin line of red out of his skin, tracing down Lomedy’s ashen throat.
Wemmbu is immediately greeted with a knee to the stomach, winding him before a fist swings into the side of his face.
“Good,” Wemmbu grins, just a bit more vicious than he means it to be when his back hits the floor with a slam.
