“You guys really asked him?” Sykkuno could hardly believe it. It seemed like such a long shot. The party was fun, sure. His friends were nice people and Corpse seemed to like them too. But it wasn't like these were Corpse's only friends. Corpse didn't seem the kind of guy who liked partying so much that he'd get in his car and drive all the way to Los Angeles. Besides, he was always so busy. “He wanted to drive all the way here, for – for a party?”

Summary
Corpse listens to Sykkuno mumble under his breath a little as he shuffles in his sleep. A rush of fondness surges through him, he can't help but smile.
Corpse doesn't let himself overthink; he pulls down his mask and presses a kiss to Sykkuno's forehead.
Alternatively: A realistic take of Among Us in a real world context where Corpse joins a crew of well-established friends and finds that sense of belonging he never thought would happen to him. Placed in precarious situations, the struggle of retaining humanity on an alien planet is unfairly thrust upon the crew's shoulders, especially one who harbors an imposter within his torn conscience.

There are thousands of students here, all in the flow of normality, whatever normality might be, and everyone has a place that they neatly fit into. Well, besides us. We don't need a place."
"You really think so? All I've ever wanted is a place. To be Sykkuno and not.. the real me," he admits, laying his head in his hands. "I just wanna be somebody."
"You are Sykkuno, and you are somebody. I am sure of it."
