we finally started up lit club again!! :D last week's assignment was to write a piece of fanfiction that's a character study
this fic is built on my own ideas of the meta of pathologic rather than being based in 1 or 2 specifically, it takes cues from both games. in this fic, also, the polyhedron is what it is in 1: a colonist creation that is harmful to the world and the people of the steppe. fic also leads into nocturnal ending, which IMO is the best ending
sort of the proverbial anti-burda fic - not that im against the ship itself, but this is why imo the ship just doesnt work and would never work in canon. it's not about "eww theyre not gayyy DX" it's just about them representing two very opposite world views
only the people of the steppe deserve rights and that's a fact

so... birth by sleep is almost undebatably a bad game. i see you ready to type out some refutation, but listen - i never said unlovable, or shameful! i said bad, and what that means is mostly (confirmed) incomplete, rushed and badly written for its poor characters. it is basically objectively garbage - but it’s OUR garbage, we love it but we think it’s finally time to turn it into the shiniest goddamn piece of garbage it can possibly be.
