Summary
Popular novelist Edward Teach knows his stuff, but the Society for Antiquities has some complaints about his latest book, and to appease them, his publisher sends him out on an expedition with an expert archaeologist, Stede Bonnet.
Turns out Stede's concerns aren't all to do with the ruins in the novels; he's also got some unwelcome feedback on the sex scenes. With terrible (perfect?) timing, they're about to encounter a legendary sex pollen, and these new enemies are going to have to make a fast pivot to lovers if they want to survive.

Summary
