Summary
Commander Shepard is dead. In his place, a man wakes up to a galaxy that's moved on without him. Forced to ally with the monstrous organisation Cerberus, the newley rekindled Shepard discovers he's a shadow of the hero he used to be.
Saddled with a suicide mission to stop the extinction of mankind, the commander is trapped between stopping a new and deadly enemy, and trying to piece himself back together.
Facing his most dangerous mission yet, Shepard quickly discovers that without something deeper than duty to his mission, he won't be coming back at all.
A Shepard/Tali novelisation of Mass Effect 2, with slight changes to the canon. This story will follow a man scarred by death. There will be fluff and fun to be had with the commander and his close friends, but ultimately this will be a tale of overcoming loss and grief.

Summary
In an alternate universe, the Autobots have won the war for Cybertron. The Decepticon leader, Megatron, orders his forces to scatter across the galaxy. Forming an alliance of convenience with a Soviet defector, the pair realize they have more in common than meets the eye. As their relationship slowly grows, larger forces begin to move around them.
