Angel looks up at him with those nightshade-lethal eyes, long hair askew like he's been running, flushed to the tip of his nose. The overhead lamp casts harsh shadows across his face. Aki watches him like one might some kind of feral cat, half drunk on anxiety and affection alike. His pulse is skittish. He can feel it hammering against the hollow of his throat.
"Are you afraid?" Angel whispers, resting his chin against Aki's thigh.
"No," Aki says.
"You look afraid."
"I want to kiss you," he admits.
Or, Aki loathes all devils. Perhaps he would loathe Angel too, if only he could see him as one.

Following the Racoon City incident, Leon Kennedy had been special selected by the President to be sent to a training base off the coast of the United States. Nobody there likes him, mostly because he's "THE Leon S Kennedy", and his drill sergeant, a man named Jack Krauser, goes out of his way to mess with him. The pretty little traumatized thing that he is.
This is unfinished, but I wanted to post it just in case I do pick it back up.

Who’s he kidding? This is the same man who grumbles when bringing Kaveh a cup of coffee.
But he does bring it.
And once that thought hits Kaveh, the words fall out of his mouth before he can register them. “A blanket, if you have another one.”
“A blanket?” Alhaitham repeats.
Fuck.
Excuses. Something, anything. “Mine’s basically a sheet since I bought the cheapest one available—” What is he saying? Yes, he has been feeling cold as of late but that’s not something he can’t handle. “Actually, I can buy another one tomorrow since it’s the weekend.”
What use is the backtrack if Alhaitham notices it anyway?
“Save that for rent. I do have another one.”
Or, 5 times Alhaitham lies to and deceives Kaveh, and the 1 time he realises he's never needed to.
