A beat of silence passes between them as Louis raises an unimpressed eyebrow. “You want to try saying that like you mean it?”
Harry pouts, jutting out his lower lip. “But I don’t mean it, Lou. I feel like I’m being mean.”

OR - Fed up with the excess energy that’s wreaking havoc on his personal and professional life, Louis asks his boyfriend to dom him in the hopes that it’ll help him relax. Summary
Louis tried to shove the spatula under the mess again, but when it grated noisily against the bottom of the pan, Harry jumped in.
“No, not like that!” he said, horrified, as he darted over to snatch the spatula from Louis’ hand.
“Fuck’s sake,” Louis muttered, throwing his hands in the air in defeat. “You’re the one who insisted on teaching me how to cook, I don’t know why you’re surprised I’m bad at it.”
Harry made a pained little expression. “You’re not bad, you’re just… a little careless.” Delicately, he scraped the burnt mess onto a spare plate, where it landed with a soft thud and began leaking pancake batter.
Louis stared at his abomination of a pancake in dismay, poking at it with his fork.
“At least not all of it is burnt?” Harry tried, wincing.
Or, where Louis can’t cook for shit, and Harry is his stressed-out firefighter neighbor who is fed up with answering calls to his own building.

Louis… Louis was, in all the ways that really mattered, the polar opposite of Harry's ex. He was gentle where Jack wasn’t, shared his feelings openly when Jack didn’t. He shared his belongings freely, whether it was clothes or just a household tool, and he’d do things for others simply because he felt like it. He made Harry want things he couldn’t have.
or, Louis and Harry spend a weekend in the countryside and find themselves somewhere they should have been years ago.
