Ryland Grace has been tense as of late, and understandably so - either the weight of the Hail Mary mission and cracking the mystery of Astrophage on his mind, you offer a 'distraction' to him, to help relieve some stress.

You nod, wiggling your wrist to give him a thumbs-up. He looks down and smiles, patting your helmet before stepping back.
Armando moves rapidly above your head, arms attaching to your life support and checking your oxygen levels.
“Contaminant detected.”
You feel your gut drop. What?
“Contaminant? What do you mean by "contaminant”?” Ryland asks, voice tilting upwards in concern.
You're exposed to an unknown contaminant during an EVA run so you and Ryland have to improvise.

You’ve never really given his constant hugs towards Rocky much thought. You can always find Ryland leaning on the xenonite sphere, or touching the side of the wall near where Rocky lays as he sleeps, or asking for fist-bumps and hugs despite the thick layer of warm xenonite separating the two.
“Yeah,” you murmur, "I suppose so.”

Summary
On the ground, just a few steps in front of you, was Grace, chest bare and heaving. His slightly tanned skin was tinted with red, beginning at his cheeks and running all the way down the curves of his body, the rest of his skin hidden behind the pants of his suit. You could see the sheen of sweat layering atop his skin from how it glistened in the light.
With each heave of his chest, his abs convulsed, almost as if the movement sent shockwaves across his body. His eyes were squeezed shut, mouth agape with each shuttered exhale, but the sudden piercing blue of his half-lidded eyes shook you out of your shock.
“Please,” he begged, peering up at you with tearful, pleading eyes. “I can’t…” he panted, “I can’t take it… much longer.”

One second Ryland sat beside the fire, breathing crying beneath the stars. The next Simon shoved into him hard enough that both of them crashed backward into the sand. Ryland made a startled sound as the blanket twisted beneath them. Sand scattered. The firelight jumped gold across Ryland’s shocked face.
