Summary
For a long time, Dream has been searching. For what, he isn't exactly sure, but knows that he's destined for something.
It all falls into place when his itinerant party stumbles upon the ruins of an ancient library, deep underground and eerily untouched for millennia. The books there speak to him, and their divinity, borne of a long-lost deity, pulls him under into something that he cannot fully understand.
But, gods aren't kind, and wishes do not come without consequence, nor leave you unchanged.

Summary
For a long time, George has known he loved the bite of rope against his skin, and the feeling of brightly stinging pain, but he's never had someone to help him feel it. That is, of course, until he meets Dream: tall, handsome, domineering, and all too good at making him fall to absolute pieces. And so begins an arrangement: George goes over to his flat, he's fucked within an inch of his life, spends the night, and then goes along his merry way come morning. There aren't any strings attached, and it's glorious.
As the weeks come and go, though, George begins to realize that he's starting to feel a little more than lust when it comes to his thoughts about Dream. He knows better, he really does, and he knows there's no way in hell the other feels the same, but since when does anyone really have control over their heart?

He smiles softly at that, at a hint of the normal Dream returning. Although, upon thinking, what even is his idea of “normal” Dream? A Dream who is missing a large chunk of his memories? Who has been living in a strange, suspended state of unknowing? Maybe the Dream who had sobbed into his chest and delicately asked if he’d stay with him because he was terrified, voice made of shattered glass, was the real Dream. Ever since he had recovered, he’s spent a lot of time putting up the front that nothing is wrong, that the only emotions inside of him are a desire for justice and reclamation. Maybe this is finally him letting himself acknowledge he is just as human as he wishes he wasn’t.

Dream is a knight in service to the Amanitian Crown Prince George, but he certainly doesn't start out life that way. He, too, was a prince, once. And if he has any say in it, he will be again.

Summary
People can only withstand so much before they eventually give in, and that's exactly what Dream and George are: run-of-the-mill people who also happen to have been painfully infatuated with each other for somewhere between two and five years.
The night that they finally break, it's like every single thing falls into place between them and the world finally snaps to its axis. Despite the fact that so many questions and uncertainties still remain when George wakes up the next morning, he knows that everything will eventually be alright as he watches Dream sleep the minutes away.
What he doesn't know is exactly how much the stolen clothing he wears will affect Dream the moment he wakes up, and exactly how the man he just admitted to loving will choose to deal with it.
