But in his head, that’s what he usually thought when he saw the two of them together. Daryl seemed to be the only one that could consistently talk sense to Rick. Hershel would try, but somehow Rick seemed more receptive when Daryl was the one talking, even if they said the same thing.

But then the “temporary situation” went on for a lot longer than expected.
Long story short Daryl didn’t really like that.
