Deep in the mountains of Coerthas, far away from any kind of civilization, you will find a lonesome clan of Miqo’te. This clan is said to be as old as the moon itself and is therefore called the children of Menphina, living high on top of a mountainside. Many people believe this clan is the birthplace of the keepers of the moon and their unique traits. Not much is known about them, their way of life or their culture. But the little bit of information that escaped from behind their walls tells the story of the child of Menphina. A child, born every ten generations with pale eyes, hair silver as the moon and skin gray like it's face. This child is said to lead the clan into a new age, though most of them never grew old enough to fulfill their purpose. Since the clan keeps mostly to themselves we can only speculate on the details. As far as we know not even a handful of children were exposed to the outside world. This is the story of one of them.

Vrtra would not mind – to hide away in a simulacrum and pretend to be someone else was something he had done for centuries. At this point, perhaps one ought to call it an old habit.He had done it for his people. He could do it for a singular man.
The Satrap of Radz-at-Han, Vrtra of the First Brood, has fallen deeply in love with Estinien Varlineau, and only has old habits to fall back upon when it comes to getting what he wants, which both helps and hinders him.
Estinien, in turn, suffers intense, oblivious gay panic.
