My comments on this work :
Thank you for dedicating such an amazing story to me ♡ When I saw it in my email that I recieved a gift on AO3 I started smiling so much ♡ It took me so long to get through this story because I couldn't stop the butterflies from tormenting me. The title is spot on. This was soooo beautiful and absolutely one of the best first kiss stories I've ever read. It seemed soooo realistic and complimented these two so well. They were both awkward just the way you'd expect inexperienced people to be. My favorite parts were.... the entire thing! Loool it was so wonderful but I will say the part where Chihiro was trying to explain why she needed help and he just agreed to help before she even finished was so beautiful. I think that part is my absolute favorite. He's always going to be on her side no matter what and always ready to help her. I loved when she held onto his fingertips. Such a sweet detail especially since she used to grab onto him so much back then. Such a cute, subtle detail. I love how he assured her he didn't mind using his scales at all once she shares and she's like there isn't a world where I wouldnt share with you and how he takes a while to answer questions. I thought that was really sweet. Again, thank you for this work of art ♡ I am truly so honored and happy ♡ bonus scene was when Chihiro wants to protect him and how she kept staring at him but he didn't mind. So yeah, every single detail. Thank youuuu ♡ -

Summary
Set in a futuristic timeline, Hanji is a top engineer in charge of creating what are known as ultrihums, female android esque machines that turned into high quality sex toys. However, when Hanji breaks the norm one day and decides to make a custom ultrihum of her own, he turns out to be the thing in her life she never knew she was missing, a break away from the dull humdrum life she leads.
And as a result, Levi turns out to be quite more than she expected. Can one be human without being human? As a result of her bold move, change ensues. As distracting as life gets, though, she really does try to keep time for her Levi, who needs all the help he can get as he begins to question his existence.
Life, love, human emotion in general, things an ultrihum shouldn't grasp and yet, how was Levi? At first it's a scientific miracle, but it becomes so much more for Hanji.

This is the best piece of work I've read in quite awhile. When I read the synopsis I was a bit scared. Levihan, artificial life? I was so apprehensive about what would happen especially when that one theme was sure to appear; emotions. Hanji has a whole bunch. Enough to compensate for Levi's stoicism but how would it work when she just wanted someone to love. And he did; he loves her. Throughout the entire story I was just silently waiting for the ball to drop. Her accepting the situation was "strange", him being destroyed somehow or something ultimately coming between them. Just like Hanji, sometimes it felt so inappropriate wishing they'd fall in love but it's what I wanted. I just wanted them to be together so badly. Hanji succumbing to her disease revealed new emotions for Levi and although he's artificial, I can't help but imagine how frustrating it must be when you lose someone you love and can't cry. It hurts. This story hurts. In a bittersweet way. Levi's revelation of life and death is heart wrenching. I only wish you would be so kind to assure he always has a companion dear writer.
