Summary
After Daryl presented, his father would lock him alone in a bare room during his heats in an attempt to curb his omega status. Years later Daryl's traumatized memories still influence his reaction to his heats. He tries to ignore his instincts, submitting and admitting he's not in control isn't something he's good at, but so far his attempts have been futile. At least he's got Rick, his patient mate who understands and accepts Daryl as he is.

Summary
It’s been months without any sign of the Governor. The prison is just starting to settle down into relative peacefulness when something unthinkable happens, two of their own go missing. The Governor’s returned and he doesn't want the prison, he just wants to ruin Rick's life. He figures taking out his right hand man, Daryl Dixon, will be enough to drive him crazy. But then he sees Daryl's claim mark and figures he’s got a new way of getting to the ex-cop, torturing his omega.

Summary
(Part 1 of 3)
When Rick is 8, he visits his family out in the middle of nowhere Georgia and gets lost in the woods. He stumbles upon something he isn’t supposed to see, and is saved by another little boy that gets him home safely.
AKA: the story where Daryl continuously keeps Rick from getting killed as they grow up, Rick is a nosy little shit who doesn't know boundaries, and Daryl's family practices a bastardized version of Folklore Hoodoo and New Orleans Haitian Vodou.
The Dixon Family and their associates use this practice to prosper their bootlegging business, but their rituals are corrupt and their actions anger the spirits they communicate with. The forest and town become cursed, and the horrible things the townspeople do in their every day lives makes everything worse. No one discovers the damning combination until it's too late.
