    Summary

Three Months after Aziraphale left he comes back to earth.

Crowley. In the bookshop. That wasn’t something he had expected.

He peered around the corner, and there was Crowley, surrounded in books.

Hidden by the corner of the shelf, Crowley turned away from him, pale blue eyes took in as much as he could.

“Dammit, Muriel... I’ll never get this done. Shouldn’t have touched the books...” Crowley whispered, shaking his head, and reaching to grab the next one off the shelf, read the title and then groaned quietly when it was no help, flipping it open.

He stepped out from the corner, Crowley unmoving. “Muriel, I told you to go play in traffic on Carnaby Street. There’s no way you got the paperwork done that quickly.” He sneered, slowly looking up.

When yellow met blue, his frustrated expression quickly paled and softened, eyes going wide and mouth agape.

“That’s Lady Chatterley's Lover... it goes in this section.”

    “Aziraphale?”

Or, the one where Aziraphale comes back and Crowley is still hurt.

    “Aziraphale isn’t the Supreme Archangel.”

“What do you mean,” he retorts, dragging his good sense back into his brain. Because that made no sense, in any universe, “he’s not Supreme Archangel?”

Saraqael frowns at him, and shrugs a shoulder. “We haven’t seen Aziraphale since the Halo Incident.”

Wait. No. That wasn’t right. That wasn’t–

    or;

Crowley thought Aziraphale went to Heaven. Turns out Metatron locked him in Purgatory instead.

    Summary

Anthony J. Crowley, best selling author, has writer's block. He could blame the Accident, but deep down he knows his block started way before. He hasn't written anything in too long, if we choose to ignore the dozens of unsent letters addressed to the angel he lost two decades ago, when he moved to New York City.
When his best (and only) friend convinces him to take a little vacation in a small town in Connecticut, he expects peace and quiet. He doesn't expect to see the smile that still haunts his dreams again. Apparently, small towns are full of surprises, and how late is too late?

The world stops spinning on its axis or, at the very least, Crowley stops breathing. This is absolutely impossible. He forces himself to swallow, to take a deep breath, as he doesn’t want to scare this girl off. Muriel, who is still smiling, all bright and wide and just like-
Oh, God. “A bookshop, you said?” He chokes out. This is impossible, and he’s being ridiculous. He is in London, this is just a sick coincidence and his stupid brain playing stupid games.
“Yes, you can see it if you turn around.” Crowley doesn’t move. “It’s called A. Z. Fell Books.”
Now, the world definitely stops spinning.

    Summary

“So, I sparked your interest, did I?” and Crowley moved even closer, backing Ezra up against the brick wall of the alley. Ezra didn't feel threatened by this; if anything, he felt … aroused.
“Yes,” he said softly and honestly, looking into Crowley's eyes. “You definitely caught my attention.”

In 1845 London, Crowley and Aziraphale are heirs to the city's two most powerful families, who are entrenched in an enduring feud. Each possesses invaluable gifts—Crowley, the art of manipulation, and Aziraphale, expertise in decryption and infiltration. Trained as spies and indoctrinated to despise each other since birth, they are tasked with uncovering a shared secret, forced to work together to satisfy their respective families.
As their covert missions unfold, an unexpected, passionate connection sparks, and they find themselves falling fast for each other - but it's a love neither family will abide ...

    “That's why I didn't do it. I was scared.”
“I'd never hurt you, angel. Not that kind of demon.”
“It's not you I'm scared of! I... what kind of angel am I, for wanting so many things?”
    -----
"Angel, please. Don’t fall for me.”
“Oh, I’m sure I won’t. See, that’s the scam. You don’t fall for being bad. You can be as cruel as you want as long as you’re still useful. Don’t question things, and you can get away with murder."
