    Rodimus assigned the hardcase to Megatron out of spite, and everyone was waiting for him to fail spectacularly.
    Little did they know, Megatron and Ratchet had history. (Spoiler alert: it did not help, at all.)
    Between the spacebridge in his stomach, the Fool's Energon playing tricks with his processor, and a struggling path towards reform, Megatron really didn't have time for this.
    But did Megatron mention how much he disliked being told that something was impossible?

    Illogical Impulsive: Adopting a sparkling sure will have no consequences on the trajectory of my life, says Shockwave. Like a liar.
    Calculated Love: Ok I do care I care a lot so I just need to remove every threat there is and make sure Bumblebee never discovers I was a decepticon. This will surely happen, Shockwave says not knowing the Narrative.

    I will not mourn the living: "... I remember how you were when Bumblebee went missing. Like your spark had been snuffed out."
