Summary
That glint in his eyes, the way they caught the pale morning light, sharp and far too perceptive. As he tucked the key into the pocket of his pajama pants, he sat down on the bed and mentally prepared himself for who and what he might see. He finally came up with enough mental hoops to jump through to justify laying down and covering himself with the comforter, staring at the empty space in the bed beside himself as the key dug into his side. He allowed his eyes to close.
He tried to ignore the way his stomach felt warm and full of nervous butterflies the closer he came to unconsciousness.When his eyes opened again, he blinked against the harsh red lighting and pink walls. The ponies on the merry-go-round circled the bed as always, and his gaze avoided the vulgar things in the corner. Instead, he found himself looking around for who he’d be dealing with tonight.
When his eyes caught on stray tufts of purple hair and an all-white and checkered uniform, his stomach did a flip before sinking. Kokichi?
Oh, god. Whatever was about to happen couldn’t be good.

"Sieun, I... I had no idea you were..." Seongje stammered, his brain short-circuiting as he struggled to form a coherent thought. "You've been… all this time? I mean, I thought... I mean, I could tell the cardigan was big on you, but I didn't think..."
Seongje was cut off mid-sentence by Sieun's sudden action. In one swift, graceful movement, Sieun swung a slim leg over Seongje's lap, straddling him in the confined space of the Ferris wheel's cabin. Seongje's breath hitched in his throat as he felt Sieun's naked skin press against his clothed body, the heat of his princess's bare flesh seeping through the fabric of Seongje's pants.
Before Seongje could react further, Sieun leaned in and captured his lips in a passionate, searing kiss. Seongje's eyes fluttered closed as he felt Sieun's soft, glossy lips move against his own, the sweet taste of cotton candy and the unique flavor of Sieun's own essence exploding in his mouth.

When a citizen of Mondstadt is found to be involved in a series of brutal kidnappings across Fontaine, the Knights of Favonius are given an ultimatum from none other than the Hydro Archon herself: either clean up their mess and catch the guilty culprit, or have their Grand Master— Acting or non— face trial. The accusation? Concealing person from arrest. The penalty? Life sentence.
The main issue, Jean thinks as her stomach sinks at the contents of Focalors’ missive, is that the suspected criminal has ties with the Order. Which means that some of her men could be accomplices. That they can’t be trusted to be sent to Fontaine.
And that leaves Jean with only one person to plead for help.
Or; upon Jean’s request, Diluc travels to Fontaine to help take care of a case which so happens to be under the investigation of someone who goes by the name of the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide.
