Kanao Tsuyuri was relatively new to emotions. It hadn't been that long, actually, since she had started to be more honest with herself. After so much encouragement from her sisters - and a push from a friend - feelings had started to come to her easier. It was a new experience, and still so overwhelming, but she had stopped, eventually, pushing them down and trying to lock them away instead of confronting and understanding them.
But Nezuko- Nezuko made her feel such a way, such different and strange sensations - caused her chest to tighten with that foreign warm feeling that Kanao hadn't really experienced before, made her stomach seem to be swimming in a sea of agitated butterflies. And she was scared, because she couldn't quite place what it was, how to properly name it or why she felt the way she did.
It was surprising, though, how Kanao saw herself craving for that feeling as much as she didn't know what it was - because it was good, in a strange way, whenever Nezuko was around her. And, as much as it scared her, Kanao found out that it was okay.
She didn't mind it at all.
