Summary

Summary
Inconsistent rules and situation, Odile finds herself asking Loop if she could do a surgical procedure on them out of curiosity. Wow! Somebody other than stardust wants to see their insides? How could they refuse?? But they get all weird about it, luckily they can't hide much from her, it's certainly a new experience.

Summary
The events of the day of the recital happen... in reverse. Mari kills herself, and it's covered up to make it look like Sunny accidentally pushed her down the stairs. Unable to accept his sister's imperfections, rather than becoming an extreme introvert, Sunny becomes an extreme extrovert: a narcissistic, constantly-smiling beacon of optimism who idolizes Mari like a goddess. Only time will tell how long Sunny will live in denial. When the truth is uncovered, an image of perfection will be shattered.

Kris sighs again, muttering something to themself. “Do you need me to come over? Are you alone?”

Summary

Brighter than a blaze or an explosion, the sort of thing she knows she can never feel again and yet so desperately wants to. Their lips taste like apples. She wants more. Their hands slide up to her neck and card through her hair. She wants more. She wants more.
The pain and the soreness and the guilt don’t register for a long, long time. It’s just her and Kris, the desk and the classroom and the world itself out of sight and out of mind.
This must be what hatred feels like.
