Summary
No one suspects a thing. He’s sure of it. Not a single flower petal has been seen, not a single cough overheard. It takes a careful strategy to move around Atsushi’s daily schedule—to be close enough not to seem distant, but far enough not to arouse suspicion—but Dazai mastered that delicate balance. He almost wishes he could brag about it, if only it didn’t defeat the purpose entirely.
All of this effort, all of this work, just so Atsushi will never know that—
The door to the bathroom stall slams open.
Dazai freezes.
“Ah, Dazai-san! Lock it next time!”
Just as quickly, the door swings shut again. The silence that follows is deafening.
Dazai looks down at his hands. Crimson petals cling wetly to his palms, blood seeping between his fingers.
…Well, shit.

One day, Sherlock coughs. Once. Then again.
“Must’ve caught somethin’,” he says lightly. “Case took us down by the river and Billy thought it wise to wade in after the suspect. Bloody freezing, it was. Can you believe the stuff he makes me do?”
How could William possibly know something’s wrong? It’s only a cough. A perfectly natural thing.
William is trapped in a coma, but can hear everything around him. When Sherlock begins to be plagued by a mysterious cough, William can do nothing but listen, powerless to help the person who has never given up on him.

Dazai gets himself captured by the Port Mafia in order to gather information on the bounty for Nakahara Chuuya, the newest recruit of the Agency. If he also manages to gather intel about the new powerful and enigmatic mafia member, he’ll kill two birds with one stone.

Summary
“Bite me.”
Atsushi’s body stiffens instantly, freezing against him as if Dazai’s words shattered whatever spell he was under. For a moment, the world stands still.
“What?” Atsushi's voice is barely above a whisper, but there's an edge of shock to it, a disbelief. Dazai lets out an impatient noise, something between a sigh and a growl.
“Bite me,” he repeats, more insistently this time, trying to will Atsushi back into motion. He reaches out, fingers curling around Atsushi’s shirt, attempting to pull him closer to his neck again. “It’s fine. I want you to.”
Dazai visits a club popular among vampires, thinking that being killed by one could be an interesting way to die. There he encounters Atsushi, a newly turned vampire who stubbornly refuses to grant his wish.

Summary
In an instant, Atsushi’s world flipped upside down. Before he could process what was happening, he found himself pinned to the floor, with Dazai looming above him with a seriousness in his eyes that Atsushi didn’t see often. Both of Dazai’s hands were planted firmly on the floor beside Atsushi’s head, his breath slightly ragged.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to—” Atsushi began, his face flushed with embarrassment.
“Shh,” Dazai cut him off. His eyes flicked toward the door, narrowing as if he could see something beyond it. “We’re not alone.”
Stranded in a mysterious small town while investigating a case, Atsushi and Dazai find themselves forced to share a room with only one futon. As night falls, they begin to realize there’s something unsettling happening in the local ryokan they're staying in.

As Atsushi begins to pull his hand away, Dazai lets out a soft, disgruntled noise and catches his wrist, pressing Atsushi’s hand to his cheek.
“Dazai-san?” Atsushi whispers.
“I’m cold,” Dazai murmurs, his voice barely audible under the blankets.
Atsushi’s heart clenches. “I brought curry. And tea. They’ll help warm you up.”
But Dazai doesn’t seem to hear him. He nuzzles closer into Atsushi’s hand, his eyes still closed, his voice drowsy and distant. “Atsushi-kun is warm.”
Dazai is sick. Atsushi is warm. The situation spirals out of control too quickly for Atsushi’s liking.

I had several drones and all of ART’s cameras in this room on her. Somehow it still wasn’t enough, so I shifted my eyes from the wall to her, too. I captured her every detail, from the light brown hair curling on her head, to the laughter lines on her face, and the calm and sure way she held herself, even if she was still troubled by the traumatic experiences GrayCris put her through.
I would see her again, but I didn’t know when, so I made sure to save this image in my permanent storage. I had a special folder where I kept files on all of my humans.
