Summary
Jesse did not know Buffy Summers very well, he’d only ever really interacted with her on a handful of times. They’d first met the day before he was turned, and obviously they’d seen each other in the tunnels after he was turned. But after Willow and Xander managed to track him and give him his soul back, he spent most of his time with Angel and the rest of his crew. Jesse remembered seeing her once after he’d gotten his soul back, and when she’d come to see Angel in LA.
That being said, he heard Willow, Xander, and Angel talk about her constantly, and Cordelia and Wesley talked about her on occasion. So Jesse knew how incredible of a person she was. Hell, she’d risked her life to look for him after the night he was taken. Sure, he was already dead at that point, but that wasn’t her fault. When Willow had asked him to help them out in Sunnydale, he had quickly said yes. He wanted to be there for his friends, they were going through a lot right now and apparently they needed all of the help they could get to make of for Buffy’s absence.

Lana came to talk too her parents at The Smallville Cemetery practically every single night. Years ago, Nell had tried to talk her out of going out on school nights, but Lana was insistent. She knew it would sound odd to most people, how comforting she found the graveyard to be, but she didn’t really care. This was how she would connect to her parents, how she could be near them, and how she could talk to them.
That was what she was doing, when she heard some leaves crunch behind her.
“Clark, is that you?” She asked. She hoped it was him, not a lot of people hung out in the cemetery at night. And after everything that went down with Greg Arkin she was feeling a bit jumpy.
When she didn’t get a reply, she tensed up a bit, and slowly turned around.
Standing behind her, was a short, pale, girl in pigtails and a black dress.
