Izuku Midoriya has always been good at one thing: surviving.
But after a chain of events leave him alone and quirkless in a world that eats the weak alive, Izuku reaches the point where surviving doesn’t feel worth it anymore. One night, while not really planning to see another morning, he stumbles into a fight that isn’t his—and realizes something important: he doesn’t need to be a hero to save people.
So Izuku decides he might as well make himself useful. Vigilantism is dangerous, violent, and very likely to get him killed—which is perfect. If his life is good for anything, it might as well be saving someone else’s anyways.

So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

Izuku likes to think that she did so because she trusts him to be by himself in the house and that they need the extra money, but he knows deep down that his mom just wants to avoid him. It’s been that way since the day he developed his quirk.

Raised in the shadows by an underground syndicate of assassins and spies— Izuku was bred for precision and silence, a weapon without equal. But something went wrong. Branded “defective” by his own handlers, Rather than kill their best asset outright, an enigmatic Black Lotus enforcer shows up at Japan’s Hero Public Safety Commission with a “gift” for Eraserhead: a teenage weapon, stripped of orders, a perfect killer dumped at his doorstep like an unwanted pet.
Seeing something salvageable in the sarcastic, deadpan teenager, Aizawa drags him to U.A. High instead of prison, hoping to teach him what it means to save lives rather than take them.
However Izuku is a problem child like no other, Aizawa realizing far too late he got far more then he bargained for.
