Made for BWBR 31 Gays of Summer with the prompts: Farmer's Market and Lemonade.
Set before the events of Polar Opposite and Matched Ambitions, this story tells Gale and Astarion, still in doctoral school in Blackstaff University, trying to finish their dissertation proposal in the heat of Flamerule summer. Gale decided to ask for Astarion's help in reviewing his draft, to which Astarion gladly help with some bribery. They also learned a bit about each other.

Summary
Jenevelle and Wyll are master's students under the guidance of two prominent professors at the the School of Illusion Magic at the University of Waterdeep. Wyll's thesis advisor is Professor Gale Dekarios, while Jen's is Professor Astarion Ancunin. One would think the two professors would get along, sharing research and having productive conversations.
That is not the case. Professor Ancunin and Professor Dekarios are constant rivals with their competing theories. They are always bickering, and when in the same room, catty back-and-forths ensue. However, hidden from prying eyes is a secretive life they both share.
As Wyll and Jen recall the recent chaotic interactions with their professors, Gale and Astarion share a celebratory night in each others arms.

A few moments of silence later, Astarion moved beside him to rummage through his bags, “I want to show you something.” Then, he dropped two thick pornographic magazines in front of both of them.
Gale just jumped in his seated position and his face went beet red immediately. Then, in a split second he realized those magazines came from Astarion’s school backpack. “WHY IN THE HELLS DID YOU BRING THOSE MAGAZINES TO SCHOOL?!”
“Oh Dekarios, don’t be such a dweeb cause I am sure these are both educational for you.” Astarion replied cheekily with a wink. He was still trying to get Gale to look at them.
Gale was bewildered and tried to look away (but managed a quick peek at the men's magazine) with his face still hot and red.
“WHY WOULD I WANT TO BE EDUCATED ON THAT? ESPECIALLY WITH YOU?!” Gale now turned his back trying to get away from Astarion’s persistent hands urging him to look down.
