Summary
Muu was given everything, Rei was given nothing. She accepted that fact, but flipped like an hourglass, Muu then understands what it means to suffer.
But Rei doesn't want to acknowledge that. In the end, in the fit of everything, they have to learn to navigate their feelings for one another.
But what is that feeling, exactly? Contempt? Disgust? Indifference? Or maybe even love?
Or—
A rewriting of Muu's case, in their perspectives— but Muu doesn't get sent to MILGRAM (because Rei doesn't end up dying).

Summary
Every important person in Mizi's life seem to view her in different ways.
aka sua's, ivan's, till's, hyuna's, and mizi's vastly different povs of herself
"Yeah... The way her smile lights up the room, her laugh is music to my ears; the way she loves to sing, the way her eyes sparkle. She's so open and honest, and always so cheerful." Compared to his anxious stance earlier, he now has an actual little smile on his face.
That's... Hyuna internally cringes. "Are we actually talking about the same person?" She hasn't heard much about how Mizi was like back then, but this ? That girl? Always so cheerful? Smiling? Laughing?

“I should’ve come over sooner. Maybe I would’ve changed my mind knowing my dad has been a homophobic asshole since, what? How long have you been together, the ’90s?”
The room froze. Forks stilled. Wilson went pale, panic flickering across his face. House, by contrast, leaned back in his chair with an amused smirk, clearly entertained by the assumption.or, when Wilson’s niece comes out, his defense spirals into pretending he’s in a relationship with House, complicating the family dynamics before his nephew’s wedding.

Summary
She’s tired.
“Ms. Dove?”
She looks up in surprise at the sound of a voice.
Rafael is at her mailbox, looking at her cautiously. Distantly, she acknowledges that Dove is her name. She tries for a polite smile, but it doesn’t feel right on her face. She tries again - dropping the smile, and nods. That felt more natural.
“Ah. Rafael. You have something for me?”
He nods, slowly and carefully, steps closer to hand her a letter. This time, the smile comes unconsciously. She only gets mail on special occasions.

Summary
Alicia's apartment had always been a bit on the strange side.
This had never bothered Alicia.
Beaford, on the other hand, was very bothered.
"Why the fuck," Beaford was saying, lights above them flickering on and off at a diorientingly rapid pace, "are they doing that?"
"Try switching them off and on again," Alicia suggested, as she transferred a bit of holy water to a container and then filled the rest of the container with tap water. Beaford had once asked her if that diluted the holiness of the water. Alicia had said that maybe the holy water wasn't all that holy in the first place if a little tap water could strip it of its holiness.
"They're already off," Beaford said, voice thin and reedy, and Alicia knew that if she looked up, the quick taps she could hear would be paired with the sight of Beaford pacing back and forth. "And they're fucking lights, I don't think they work like that-"
