A rosy fixture atop porcelain skin marred into creases–both from age and fire–ajar to send a protest Pantalone’s way. Before he can try, Pantalone parts his fingers and slides them to either side of his gums, exposing two rows of exquisite teeth.
And four unmistakably pointed canines.
Or, wherein Dottore summons Pantalone after work hours for an impromptu "emergency" meeting.

Summary
Wszystko zaczęło się od opery, od przeklętego "Upiora w Przecierze".
Potem Dottore obraził ekskluzywną wodę ( i to w butelce kaucyjnej!), zniszczył cudzy wieczór, próbował wyłudzić grant badawczy i jakimś cudem uznał, że uwodzenie Bankiera jest rozsądną strategią negocjacyjną.
Ku powszechnemu nieszczęściu, częściowo zadziałało. A Dottore, przynajmniej na parę minut, miał skutecznie zamknięte usta.

“That’s because you’re a terrible teacher,” Phainon says, petulance in his voice thin over affection.
Only then does Mydei fully turn to his side to face him, eyeing the way the dim light seems to catch the silver of Phainon’s hair. He reaches over without thinking. “Like this,” he mutters, thumb pressing against Phainon’s bottom lip to force the correct shape. “Your tongue here,” his touch lingers. “And don’t enunciate the last syllable too much.”
Or, when Phainon asked Mydei to teach him the Kremnoan language, he expected refusal. Much to his surprise, Mydei agrees. But as the words come easier, so does everything else Phainon was never supposed to understand.

“You know that you could’ve just asked me to bring you something, right?”
“It has to be fresh. And big enough so that I can get full, because once I start, the hunger is going to get ten times worse.”
“...am I enough?” Quackity asked without a second passing, the question pushing onto his lips before he could really think it through.
But it was, admittedly, something that he wanted.
OR: Multi looks sick, and even though he isn't, Quackity still helps.

The village hero had turned pink at that point, quickly looking back and forth as he tried to figure out how best to define his budding relationship with his companion.
“He’s not exactly a friend-” Phainon had rubbed the back of his neck, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead.
Mydei had groaned, giving Phainon a light slap on the back before turning to her, speaking plainly.
“I’m his betrothed.”
Phainon takes Mydei back to Aedes Elysiae to celebrate their engagement.
