Summary
“Do you know what universe you’re from?”
Red Robin blinks. “Um. Not exactly.”
Strange considers him. The suit is armored but light; his stance screams combat training; his eyes — what Stephen can see of them, anyway — are sharp and tired all at once.
And he’s a child. Not literally — a teenager, maybe — but he is still too young to be saying things like “grenade launcher” with that much nonchalance.
“This,” Strange says finally, “is not my problem.”
Or: Five times Stephen Strange summons Tim Drake on accident and the one time he means to

Summary
“Meep!” escapes Damian’s lips. “U-uh, listen sirs, I really don’t know what’s going on here but—” three more of the scary thugs (is that derogatory? should he not say that?) point their guns at Damian. “And those are guns. Yup those are lots and lots of guns. Oh my God. I’m gonna die. I’m gonna die and I’m not going to get to be the first Asian Hans in Frozen Jr. Well, actually, I don’t know if I’d be the first Asian Hans ever because I’m sure there’ve been productions in heavily Asian populated areas, and I mean, I’m mixed, I’m not even fully Asian, but I—” They all cocked their guns. “Yup, I’m shutting up now.”
"Yeah, this ain't Robin."

Summary
" So let me get this straight," Lois, voice tart and loose with their favorite cheap wine, smiles incredibly big, incredibly shark-like, " You met your celebrity crush in a coffee shop. You manhandle an ableist asshole for him,--"
" I didn't manhandle him, I just forcefully moved him where I wanted."
" –, you then proceeded to homoerotically have coffee together. And you just happened to wear the sluttiest jeans and sweater on the same day as his interview. As a coincidence."
Or,
A bad incident during Bruce's visit to Metropolis takes a very sweet turn. He may be a mess, but Clark's never been afraid of work.

Summary
“You’re doing it again,” Bruce says, tone accusatory. “You’re faking.”
“It’s not faking,” Dick snaps, a little more aggressive than he means to be. But he doesn’t like that word, doesn’t like the connotations.
(Especially when he knows Bruce is lying about something, too.)
“Then what is it?”
“It’s called being charming and it’s nice.”
-_-
Dick’s mother raised her son to be a star. Dick’s father raised his son to be an athlete.
Bruce's new ward is charming (manipulative), dedicated (obsessive), and way, way too smart for either of their own good.
