Summary
Associating with angels had consequences, Bobby had explained to him. “They ain’t the God-abiding, harp-toting little healers that you’d expect, Dean. They’re…different. They…”
They claim things, Bobby had said, with a shiver. People. They claimed humans and stole them from the camp and whatever happened to them afterwards, no one knew.
After Castiel dies, the portal to the other world opens and obliterates the universe that Sam and Dean know. Bobby takes them in, teaches them how to survive in a world with new rules and new consequences, a world where humans live in camps enclosed by high walls to keep angels out, where angels will do anything and everything to seduce and lure humans away. Why and to where beyond the wall, no one knows.
While Sam struggles to find a way home, a grieving Dean loses all hope.
But then one night, while Dean's guarding the wall, in the middle of a snowy blizzard and under the cover of darkness, an angel with beautiful black wings and a familiar face appears.
His name is Castiel.
And he asks Dean to go with him.

Summary
Aetherians are a technologically advanced race that live in floating cities above the clouds. They have always considered themselves better than the creatures that live in the dirt - including homo sapiens. As such, they have no problem housing a few in their zoos.
Castiel, a Sapien Sympathizer (a minority among Aetherians), doesn’t believe that homo sapiens should be in a zoo. They may be primitive, but they are far too sentient to be caged. This only becomes more clear to him the better he comes to know the Zoo’s newest, and youngest male, addition: Specimen Designation 1-M-7.
The longer he works with 1-M-7, the stronger Castiel’s convictions become. And, one day, he’s going to find a way to set him free.

Summary
The angels fell. The angels fell and Castiel knows it was his fault. Sam and Dean take the newly human Castiel in to live with them in the bunker as he struggles to come to terms with his newfound emotions, including his longing for Dean. He knows he shouldn't, but he can't help wanting Dean... and maybe, just maybe, Dean wants Castiel too.
(I'm really bad at writing summaries. But this fic involves quite a bit of fairly graphic smut, and deals with depression and guilt)

The water’s surface broke with the force of Marc’s flailing body as waves rushed opposite him, droplets slinging every which way as his lungs heaved and coughed for breath. Marc's aching form crawled up the steps, hacking up blood out of his mouth as a single bullet fell out with what remained of the water that had been lodged in his lungs. Eyes spicy from the amount of strain he was exerting, head throbbing along with each drum of his now living and beating heart.

With their bodies now separated, Marc and Steven must traverse a new life as their own, individual entity. They must also try and break their bird brain out of jail, save the world from both Arthur and Ammit, while also trying to process their increasing feelings for one another. Learning their new affinity towards Moonscaping can also be seen as a challenge, when the act can only be attained by touching your soul bonded as you sleep.Series

“So why won’t you just talk to me about it?”
He grabbed one of the dry towels off the rack. His voice was muffled as he harshly rubbed it over his face. “It’s not that simple, mate.”
Or: Steven isn't adjusting well after Cairo, Marc just wants to help, and there's something else lurking in the shadows, waiting to take shotgun.
