No, but seriously an absolutely amazing fic and so incredibly well written that it has made my stomach drop so many times when the author drops some of the most horrifically angsty romance tropes. Concept overall is fire af too... like... just read the first chapter pls... it's soooo good ;_; -

Okay... I don't usually read BSD fics that have nothing to do with Ranpo, but... when people say this is a bomb ass fic, they are not lying. No joke, one of the best BSD fics in the fandom... but you know, don't take my word for it since I only read ranpoe fics...
read for yourself, like actually... it's a whole experience you should def have... loved everything about it and praying for the day this fic returns!!!! -

Summary
Ranpo spends his whole life feeling out of place and misunderstood. He struggles to feel like he belongs until one awkward tall man stumbles into his life and changes it forever. It would be perfect if the man wasn't stuck in a cycle of perpetual self-loathing and therefor otherwise incapable of acknowledging any strong emotion. Ranpo is really screwed. He shouldn't have fallen for such a ridiculous person. It's okay though because Ranpo is the world's greatest detective and getting Edgar Allan Poe to admit he's worthy of love should be child's play. Shouldn't it?
Or
Ranpo's strategic flirting in an attempt to get the oblivious and paranoid Edgar Allan Poe to both trust him and admit his feelings.

One of the first ever ranpoe fics I ever read and let me tell you that it DID NOT disappoint. Absolutely scrumptious. Nothing can top the level of care and just high-quality writing that this fic had. Pretty sure this is my favorite fic of all time!!!
