The man standing in the doorway—still in his school uniform, his dark hair wind-swept, which unfortunately only added appeal to his already unreasonable levels of attractiveness—blinked slowly, shifting his grip on a bucket he was holding.
“Me,” the school’s casanova, most-confessed-to-person, third year running, Denji’s worst enemy, Yoshida Hirofumi, confirmed calmly.

Not much has changed besides that, but then the relationship between him and Yoshida Hirofumi turns into one that’s more than platonic. Denji has always assumed that he and Yoshida are complete opposites, but as they grow closer, he realizes that they have a lot in common for better or worse — and that there are things he’ll need to finally face in order to move forward with not only their relationship, but his life.

He’s mastered lip reading so well that no one notices his condition, resulting in him keeping his distance from people to avoid unnecessary connections with others.
