After Nicholas' entire dorm building floods, he is forced to move into a different accommodation provided by the university. He couldn’t complain, it was a big upgrade from his single dorm — in-unit kitchen, roomy living room, the lights didn’t flicker — but this time he’s assigned a roommate.
Out of all the people affected, he’s assigned Byun Euijoo — one of the most sought after alphas on campus, and someone Nicholas couldn’t stand.
Now, he has to figure out how to handle his courses, faux beta identity, overbearing friends, and the most unreadable alpha on this goddamn planet.

"Morning." Nicholas chirps, shuffling past the little kitchen table towards the coffee machine. "Got any plans for the day?"
Hoping that his jaw doesn't look quite as clenched as it feels, Euijoo forces out a short but curt reply. "Yeah, I'm meeting Fuma and Yudai in a little bit." He wants to leave the conversation there. He wants to walk out of the room and not speak to Nicholas for at least the rest of the day. He knows that those reactions are irrational so he chooses to do the polite thing and return the question instead. "What about you?" He even manages to look up, immediately regretting the decision as he notices a single dark hickey peeking out from beneath the collar of Nicholas' white t-shirt.
OR
EJ can’t understand why he’s suddenly so annoyed by his roommate bringing hookups home. He can’t be homophobic, can he?

“It's a date then.” Nicholas nods, then pauses, correcting himself with a grin, “a training date, of course. See you Saturday, Euijoo.” He smiles and leans in close.
Euijoo holds his breath as Nicholas bends forward to stroke Teddy goodbye before he goes. He smells good too, Euijoo’s brain supplies unhelpfully for him.
As Nicholas walks away, Euijoo’s eyes linger on his back until he feels a tug on his jacket. Looking down at Teddy, Euijoo curses when he sees he is currently trying to chew off Euijoo’s jacket button.
“You’re a menace, Teddy,” Euijoo whispers, a genuine, wide smile spreading across his face. He looks back at Nicholas now walking out the door. “But remind me to thank you.”
Or: Euijoo's friends get him a dog to get over his breakup. Nicholas is the hot trainer Euijoo can't get enough of.

“Put them in your mouth,” he instructs, and the older boy immediately takes them between his teeth. “I’m going to stop whatever I’m doing when they fall out.”
“Wait, what? Yuu-chan, no—”
“Oh,” Yushi murmurs, disappointment reflecting in his tone as he picks up the fallen flowers. “I was going to say you get three chances, but now you only have two.”
Today is Valentine’s Day. The chances of someone handing out random gifts aren’t exactly zero, because it definitely happened to his lovely boyfriend, and something about it just sits wrong with Yushi.
Not once did he imagine this outcome, though—that by the end of the night, he’d be the one putting those damned fake flowers to use while he’s fucking his boyfriend inside his car.

Sion will like this, she will.
It’s not like she’s entirely secretive about her affinity towards Riku’s cat-like nature. Just last week, she asked her for a paw, flattening her palm and staring at Riku with twinkling, expectant eyes. And weirdly enough, when Riku had curled her fist and placed it on Sion’s palm with a quiet ‘nyang’, she was immediately pulled into another makeout session with a hand on the back of her neck. Which isn’t that unusual all things considered, Sion could be spontaneous. But then when she’s suddenly slipping her fingers past Riku’s waistband and demanding she meows again, it can’t be any clearer.
Sion likes seeing Riku as her pet. Besides, isn’t that why she was interested in Riku in the first place? Oh Sion, campus renowned prude, chose her because she reminded her of a little black cat.

"Oh." Jo sounds a little confused. "What did he have to say?"
"He's giving me tips on how to seduce his brother," Yuma replies. With new energy, he springs from the mattress and throws his closet doors open, squeezing past his parents’ storage boxes to rummage through the hangers. "I guess I have to sneak a crop top into my outfits this week somehow."
A pause. The scratching of pencil against paper on the other end. "This deal seems odd," is all Jo says, before falling silent again.
