Summary
Casual is a masterpiece of a song by our lord and savior herself, Chappell Roan. What might be casual that has to do with The School for Good and Evil you may ask. Well, the answer comes in one simple word. Dovesso. They are the most "casual" couple in the ENTIRE series.
Ah yes, I took a knife from my son just to save your life. I couldn't function after you passed away and I'm so much of a wreck that I can't even get my magic to work correctly. When I die all I see is you greeting me with a warm embrace.
That's just what friends do for one another guys! OBVIII!
Anyway, this fic is book-based because the movie, while it is good, is getting on my nerves a little lately. And seeing as we have a VERY small idea of what happened in the school before Agatha and Sophie arrived, this is all highly theoretical and just for entertainment purposes.
I truly hope you enjoy the fic, I planned it out like a good writer does :3
also, each of the chapter titles are lyrics from the song and all together the fic titles are the song! There's only one chorus though, where it truly matters cause I'm not gonna repeat the same chapter title -

I saw a really sad Lesso edit so I felt the need to write a fanfic abt movie Lesso and how much her life must suck lol. But it's actually just mostly Dovesso content cause I love them more than anything else.
Also, is it just me, or is Dovesso VERY Taylor Swift coded? Like some of her songs SCREAM Dovesso. I'm not a Swiftie, but DAMNNNN, some of those songs are just so them. -

I loved Hayden's work since 2022, so I wanted to create a story\fanfic based on two of her albums, "Preacher's Daughter" (2022)and "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You" (2025).
This is my recreation of the story of Ethel, every title is a song from the albums.
