In the week of Christmas Donna suffers an accident, Harvey is her emergency contact and stays with her every day during her hospitalization, which makes them spend Christmas together in a hospital room. Worry and fear make him rethink his feelings. Just like the affection and care she receives from him make Donna surrender to their love.

Set in s8: Harvey is coming to terms with the fact that he is in love with Donna. Wanting to spend time with her, he asks for her help picking out Christmas presents for his family. They spend the day together, wandering through a Christmas Market and visiting high-end stores around NYC. After a day of flirting and banter, Harvey asks Donna to dinner where he eventually confesses that he asked for her help mostly to spend time with her. Donna is skeptical at first, after the whole kiss fiasco, and thinks he’s just feeling lonely. Obviously, a Darvey happy ending.
