    Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn’t understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Will he help the tribe who wronged him or leave them to suffer? Only time will tell.

    HYDRA wasn't gone. Hidden within the re-built SHIELD, they managed to recapture the Winter Soldier out from under Steve Rogers, Kayleigh Stone and the Avenger's noses. Nobody knew until it was too late.

    Sequel to Re-Discovering Bucky Barnes, Bucky now has a lot to contend with after having been taken into custody with SHIELD and the consequent blow-out that was finding out HYDRA was behind it all, while still struggling to come to terms with who he is, and if the Winter Soldier can somehow have the life Bucky Barnes wanted a lifetime ago.

    Kayleigh Stone was an average woman. She came from average, working class parents in Wisconsin, and did her best to just simply fit in. She was smart, did well in school, and managed to keep herself involved in at least one sport, mainly to keep her father happy, also to be able to eat incredulous amounts of pizza and not feel the need to pick her body apart.

    However, after moving to Chicago and getting a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, and her Master's in Psychology, the world was turned upside down when New York City was attacked by Aliens. After moving as part of the support worker initiative, Kayleigh found herself employed by none other than Stark Industries after an emotional run in with Steve Rogers.

    Now that Steve Roger's childhood best friend is part of the mix, it's become Kayleigh's job to try and find the man that HYDRA tried to destroy within his body to create the Winter Soldier. Can she prevail? Or will her characteristically soft heart manage to get in the way?

    She hadn’t looked frightened. He’d looked right into her eyes, hand wrapped around her wrist, her pulse pounding against his fingertips. And all he’d seen was resignation.
