Summary
sam is hurt on a hunt, and dean slips into the space he always does when sam is gravely injured.

“Distract me,” he blurts, the words fractured and vulnerable. “Please. Just take me away from here or something. Use your angel-mojo or whatever.”“You trust Gabriel alone with Sam?” Cas replies, and it’s not a rejection even though it feels a hell of a lot like one. Dean clenches his jaw and looks back down at his hands, clutching the jerky. He doesn’t want to think about it, that’s the point, and Cas should pick up on it – for everything Dean tries to hide from Cas and fails to, this is something he actually wants him to see.
“Forget it,” Dean hisses, shoving the jerky into his pocket and pushing past Cas to head for Sam’s room.

Summary
Theo almost jerks to the side when the stunning warmth of Liam's palm slides over his chest. Theo's supernatural senses are gone, but he doesn't think he's ever been more hyper-aware of a single touch, every pressure point between Liam's finger pads and Theo's cotton-clad skin lighting his very nerve endings on fire. And just like that, the dubstep of his heart lurches straight for his throat.
"Your heart," Liam murmurs, sleepy and confused. "I've never heard it make that strange sound before."
That's because it's you, Theo thinks. That's because I'm human.
Will you love me? Will you bare my chest and kiss me there and love me like this, with an always breaking heart?
"Liam," he speaks into the night between them, slow and rough. "I have to tell you something."

Summary
He doesn’t think he’s spoken aloud for days now, not sure it would help to talk to himself. He thinks inwardly a lot though, snarky comment here, witty retort there. He’s pretty sure any medication he’s been on has worked itself out of him by now so now he’s reduced to itchy fingers and rapid blinks with an occasional tiny noise that erupts from his mouth when the anxiety gets too high.
He can hear the lock to the door click and he’s instantly on the floor, sitting and chewing on his nails. His heart beats too quickly within his chest and it suddenly becomes hard to breathe. They aren’t coming in to bring him food, they’d already done that a bit ago. No, now the hunters file into the room, there’s four this time, and without warning, are on him.
