He hadn’t realised, but every sweet moment that day, each laugh and every smile aimed his way, all the hugs and the looks and the touches, had left cracks behind, until all it needed was Jungkook’s warm presence and beautiful voice to break it entirely.

And the truly mind boggling part, the part that Hoseok’s own brain is scrabbling to get a grip around, is that he doesn’t think Jungkook is wrong. He’s not making wild assumptions. He’s probably right. (He’s extremely right, but Hoseok’s still too caught off guard to properly realise that yet).
