Summary
Keefe and Sophie won the war against the Neverseen, but lost their innocence in the process. After months of struggling with depression, the Lost Cities proves to be too suffocating. They decide to move to the Forbidden Cities together. For sentiments sake, Edaline and Grady see them off at the train station. They grow emotional seeing their baby leaving to be on her own, and Keefe realizes he's more loved than he thought he was. Somewhere deep down, an old wound in his heart finally begins to heal.
