Before he knows it, he’s giggling to the tune of Taehyung’s cackle, the two of them laying half underneath a stranger’s bike in the middle of a nameless street. And things are fine, there’s a party in his veins and someone in his arms, and nothing exists outside of what he can see and feel in front of him.
Because this is here, and here is now, and unlike the caustic burn of meaningless words, or the misery that dyes their waking worlds, this moment matters.
Yoongi has always lived as if the city that held him was finite. Taehyung, while he learned the same strokes, never expected to make a home of the sea.

There are a lot of reasons why Yoongi shouldn’t sleep with Jung Hoseok.
“You’re always so stuck in your own head.” Hoseok leans in gently, gently, knocking their foreheads together. “It’s okay to just feel. Nothing bad will happen. I promise.”
The huge, shuddering breath that Yoongi sucks in at that moment feels too big for his chest, like there’s more in him than his body can contain. I promise, Hoseok says, and Yoongi can feel the truth of that down to his bones.

Park Jimin is lying upside down on his bed, casually bending his body in half, his legs resting in a straight line up the the wall. Taehyung eyes him, admiring the stretch of his boyfriend’s calves. Jungkook, much more sensibly, has his head resting in Tae’s lap. He’s sideways on the bed, legs slipping off the side, eyes closed as Tae idly threads his fingers through his fringe.
“Kook especially,” Jimin decides. “He basically went through puberty in a house with six older guys, there’s no way none of the hyungs showed up in his fantasies at all.”
(or: the maknae line discuss the fantasies they have regarding their hyungs, and realise their feelings for Yoongi are a little more than fantasy. Yoongi suffers, but he's happy about it)
